Sold the farm but kept my 631 that runs very well and only will use it for snow plowing. It is stored inside.
Would it be best to run it every so often and when not in use keep it raised up off the concrete floor.

Keep it running. Nurse it to go get mail, taken garbage out, etc. Then he you get it out and do your chore, let it set out and run, that way it isn't doing 5 minute runs and not warming up.

Once warmed well, you can park it again.

Monitor fuel, oil air, coolant, etc as normal.

Run for at least an hour at least once a month. A bit more often would be better, but that's a minimum recommendation. Take it on the road for a drive if you haven't got something else for it to do; it's not like you'll be doing it enough for the tire wear to matter...

Sitting still kills machines.

turn off the gas and let the carb run dry each time you kill it.... keep a battery maintainer on it. dont fill up the tank, and only keep 5 gals or less in it so you refresh the gas often. Use a hd oil with lots of additives to protect engine.

Other than that,, try to run it long enough each time you use it to bring up to temperature and have the thermostat open...

Enjoy.... as it will last forever..
