think I found fuse looped up behind dash gauge unit--

I don't have a schematic for the 5000 but I would think that it would be the same as the 3 cylinder 2000/3000/4000 series, in which case the fuse behind the instrument cluster is for the instrument cluster, and if it is US made ("C" serial number) then it wouldn't have a fuse for the headlights, but if it's European made ("A" or "B" serial number) then the headlight fuse should be built into the back of the light switch itself.

thank you. right about fuse behind cluster-- I did find in-line holder under steering column.
