5600 pto keeps runing

bought me a 5600 ford with a cab . thing is pto runs all time when warms up any one had this problome and how hard to fix thanks

Could be a broken brake band.... but it could also be a pressure problem in the PTO circuit. I'd get a pressure gauge on it and check the low pressure manifold pressure on the hydraulic pump. It should make 160-180 psi at a fast idle when it's warm. If it does that, or even 140 psi... I'd say the circuit is fine and the band is broken. You can probably verify that by removing the round access cover on the left side of the axle center section... but that probably won't be easy to remove. A rear split will probably be the easiest way to change the band out. I really pity you having to work on that thing if it has a straddle Q cab.
Other option is to pull the lift cover if that seems easier (if it has a ba$tard cab).
