nd..............what about the unloader valve that he told you to check?(quoted from post at 15:42:42 04/14/15) ok took the top cover off of the hydraulic sump. Checked the cylinder bore n piston. Everything seemed ok n working. Under the cylinder bore I took off the end caps n pulled out the spring and shaft assembly. No o rings there. Blew out all passages with compressed air n everything was clear.
Put compressed air into the back tube in hydraulic sump n it blew air into the sump. Put compressed air into the front tube and it blew out hydraulic fluid from the front of the pump. Put compressed air into the top of the pump and fluid came out of the front tube that goes into the top cover. So seems like all the tubes n passages r clear. Just no pressure from the pump. Oh after I put it back together n started it up I bled the pump from the top pipe plug.
Still no hydraulics
o(quoted from post at 17:03:09 04/14/15) i was told by a friend that the tractor is supposed to have some type of hand valve that goes on the top plate of the hydraulic cover. Mine has a plug. No valve. This could be the problem.
our unloader valve will be very much like this one:(quoted from post at 16:58:11 04/14/15) i am assuming that the unloade valve is the part that goes under the cylinder bore. It has a spring on one side of it and the other end of it moves in and out as u raise and lower the hand control for the 3 pt hitch.
I checked it and it is not stuck in the bore. It moves freely when u raise and lower the handle for the 3pt hitch.
Also I replaced the cover and started the tractor. With it running I removed the side plate and looked inside with a flashlight. There is no hydraulic moving or leaking from anywhere.
orry, Sir, but that unloader valve pictured has no linkage attached to it, nor does it have a spring associated with it.(quoted from post at 19:02:35 04/14/15) ok I recognize that part as the one that I removed from under the cylinder bore. Both ends had plates on them. One end had a spring inside and on the other end was the valve and it was attached to some linkage that attached to the handle to raise and lower the 3pt hitch. That valve is not stuck in the bore. It moves freely.
raft or Position, in either, it should still lift. Nice to see my old sketches still getting around.(quoted from post at 21:39:33 04/14/15) Maybe a dumb question but are you sure you are not in draft position (draft control horizontal)?
I don't think this is a 3000 diagram but it's generally close, note the position of the unload valve.

on't hesitate to come back while you have it opened up.(quoted from post at 08:14:34 04/15/15) The lever is in position control not draft control. Looks like I was talking about the lever control assembly. Guess I will have to take the cover off again and check for the unloading valve again.

How do I get pics on here to show u guys. Tried copying them from my photos but it won't let me
our friend is wrong.(quoted from post at 10:31:56 04/15/15)
Trying with a couple pics that I took yesterday to c if I'm doing it right.
On the top plate right in front of where the seat goes a friend told me that there should be a flow control valve there and that the hydraulics wi not work with the plug in it
could be wrong, but your picture is probably a later model than his & thus comparing apples & oranges , since his has no flow control valve as pictured.(quoted from post at 18:19:01 04/15/15) The thing in the red square is the flow control valve. It's on the right hand side. (ignore the red circle) The cover in front of your seat is fine, won't have anything to do with it.
could be wrong, but your picture is probably a later model than his & thus comparing apples & oranges , since his has no flow control valve as pictured.[/quote]o problem. Under right circumstances, it could have been valuable info.(quoted from post at 19:56:01 04/15/15)
