Sediment bowl gasket ???

Can anyone tell me where to get a GOOD gasket that actually fits a sediment bowl? I have replaced 2 in the last week & neither one fit without a LOT of fussing! I just talked w/our local auto parts store & she said she didn't have one that was really any good! (She's been in the industry for over 30 years!) I sure appreciate her honesty! Anyone have a good source?
Thanks for listening!

I have had the same problem, the rubber ones aren't close to working, the better ones are the cork ones from tisco, can be gotten at Tractor Supply Co. or some farm stores carry the parts too.

But like Soundguy says, I keep a roll of gasket material on hand, the last two I've needed I have just cut out myself.

I use the cork type and buy them from either the local Farm and home store or O'Reilly's and never had any not fit yet. I keep a hand full of them on hand all the time

Thanks all! I didn't know if the cork ones were still available, so will keep looking. We have 2 "farm supply" stores nearby, so maybe one will have something.
