FORD 801 DECALS

I am restoring a tractor that someone else started, therefore I don't know what hood decals it had. Its an 841 diesel. Should it have the "801 Powermaster", "841 Powermaster, or "821 Diesel". I see sets for sale with all three. Thanks :?:

I bought mine from George Bradish. His number is 724 539 8386. You can go online and see what he has. www.georgebradishtractorparts.com. It depends on the year as to what decal goes on it. Hope this helps.. Ed

Depends on what year. From my understanding (which might be incorrect.....the folks here will slap me down if so), the earlier model year x01 series machines had the actual model number on the hood, while the later x01 machines had only the x01 designation. I *think* it was 1958-60 with the full model designation, and the 61-62 model years with the x01 designation. Or something like that.

That said, snag your serial number and check about what year you have.

I believe what Lanexa says is correct, don't know if they got lazy or tried cutting costs? But as far as Powermaster or Diesel, I don't know. I don't know how accurate this ad is but it shows it on there?
