determining Head on 660 tractor

I have an old 660 tractor. Serial #13569.
My head is confusing the parts supplier. It has what looks like "6080F" and "4AK:" cast in the head.
What is confusing is the valves seem to have a cap on them where the rocker arm makes contact. Supplier says this is not suppose to be like that

I tried to attach a photo of the head and one of the cap. If anyone can help. What I need is where I can find 1 of these caps or even a part number. Thanks in advance

Valve lash caps......

May or may not have been OEM

If the head had been reworked over the years,
caps may have been added to offset wear on the pushrods
and/or the rocker arms.

OR just to provide clearance between rocker arm
and valve spring retainer.

Not many people use them anymore,
but an OLD machine shop guy would be familiar with them.

Most are standard sizes, google lash caps for availability.

Mine had them as well, I don't know if its required or not, but we numbered and tagged them to get them back on the same valve as each rocker wears a bit differently.

If you need to replace them they are part #8EQ6550A sold individually for $18.75 Ea. from CNH and they should only be on the Exhaust Valves.

My reference was for a 134 or 172 CID Gas 4 Cyl. What year is your tractor? And What Engine does it have, that would help in giving an answer.

I parted out a Jubilee last summer and still have those caps if you need one/some.
Free if they'll get you up and running. My email is open.
