Power Steering Leak

Hey guys I have a 72 Ford 2000 diesel with a power steering leak. It's actually leaking from under the steering wheel. I took the steering wheel off and found a small gasket like seal. Is that the issue or do you all think I need to do something else to fix like in the power steering housing? I'm not experienced fixing things mechanically, however I have fixed some things on my tractor after being directed online or by google searches. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It's not the dust seal around the column but the seals inside. Worst part about the job is taking the sheet metal off. Check the archives for the procedure. That's what I. Did and no more leak!

Are you talking about the sheet metal around the top that covers the gas tank or the small sheet metal panels that expose the steering box at the base of the steering column itself? Once I open the box is it as easy as taking the one that's torn out and just putting the new one in and then closing up the steering box? Also do you know if there are any You Tubes showing this? Thank you very much for your help. :)
