water pump needed

I am looking for a water pump to install on my ford 801 diesel. The present pump is leaking at the bearing. My preference is to obtain an original pump and parts [u:c304afc88d]if at all possible[/u:c304afc88d]. Also, I do not have the means of repairing the one I presently have. (don't have the equip.) Sometime during the past year I believe there was a post giving a link to someone that sold repaired/reconditioned original pumps. If anyone knows of such a source, please let me know. thanks

I have one from a 1957 960 172 ci gas that I took off a running engine. If interested email or call me at 319-643-3630.
Thanks,
Lynn

When searching keep in mind in 1971 Ford service parts switched to a water pump with a small pressed on hub and the customer also had to buy a stamped steel pulley, a long spacer with 4 holes w/4- long bolts and a fan blade with the holes spaced correctly for the new style pump. Since aftermarket companies have been selling the old production style again that used a long press on hub and pulley made as one unit so you need to know which one you have so you can reuse your old fan blade.

Richard,

This guy, Will Kellogg in Arizona was sure good to me when I rebuilt my '54 International pump two years ago.

He taught me over the phone how to go about it myself and sold me new shaft & bearing, seal and two gaskets for $17.00 !!!

But as you say, you can have him do it for you.
