ford 3600 seat cushions

I was able to buy just the bucket/cushion from the dealer but that was 10 years ago.
It was black but identical to the original and good quality. It is still holding up well.
No cracks, etc.
It cost me about $120 even then.
You might check with them.
You can buy an aftermarket blue bucket on Ebay or Amazon. They are not quite the same as original but very close. The vinyl is softer and I presume not as long lasting.
But it will bolt right on to your suspension.
They are also about $120 or so.
I bought a new seat last year from a guy who tried to 'fix' the suspension but wrecked it. I had another suspension so put the two together with new bushings, etc and have a nice seat. I paid $50 for it. Time will tell if the vinyl lasts.
Most guys just replace the whole seat with an aftermarket one. About $100 from any farm store.
One thing you should consider is your rubber suspension torsion spring is 40 years old too and I have seen a lot of those fail.
New rubbers were still available the last time I checked - 5 years ago but about $80 then. You might put a new bucket on and then have your spring fail which would be a drag.
You can buy a whole new original style seat for around $200.
The older suspensions from the 60s had a steel torsion spring and lasted better. That's why I saved this one. Both of mine are that style and still going strong.
Sorry this got so long.
