front pump hub

I need to replace the drive shaft and crank pulley adapter for the front hydraulic pump on my 850. I can get at the bolt heads, but I wonder whether they used nuts on tieback of the pulley or if the pulley is tapped and the bolts just screw into that. I hope it's the second option because getting at the back of the pulley would be a bear of a job.

On all the ones I have messed with the pulley has treads so no nuts to worry about

Mine was threaded.

Also here is a link to a post I made about the replacement bushings that go into it. Will save you some cash if you have to order them through CNH.

Hub Parts

the pulley is not threaded but the hub behind it is. The bolts that hold the pump shaft hub on also hold the pulley to the crank shaft hub. Make sure if you replace the bolts to use the same length as if they are too long they will go into the front engine cover.
