Ford jubilee

lift on ford jubilee worked as I ran the machine, mid drive to go park it the lift stopped working and fell all the way to the ground and dragged all the way. have tried to mess with it and cant figure out how to get it to work again.

Any chance the arms got lifted without the tractor lifting them?
The arms are moved by a ball and rod riding on the back of
the lift piston under your butt. It isn't fixed to it in any way - just
gravity holds it in. If the back blade bumped up good it is
possible that rod isn't tucked in behind the piston anymore. I
don't know on those, but on the N series you could pull off a
side cover and look up at the cylinder with a mirror. You may
be able to put it back where it goes, although you would need
someone to lift the arms and slowly lower them while you
guide the rod where it goes.

Think of it as an engine piston and connecting rod where the
connecting rod isn't attached to the piston with a wrist pin.
They just stay together because the piston is always forcing on
the connecting rod (or vice versa).

I'd be skeptical about getting the dog one out of the bore without unpinning it or removing the valve block

I agree, the dog bone is pretty unlikely to free
itself. Coupla easy things...

- did you loosen the allen plug on top of the pump
and verify you have flow and pressure?

- proofmeter registering RPMs?

- theres no valve on the cover plate that could
have been bumped?

- did you take off the inspection port and peek
inside with a flashlight while its running and look
for hyds fluid spraying all around?

- I have seen lift ram arms wiht cracks. If the lift
arms are a lot lower then theor usual lowest, I
might be anxious that a lift arm ram shattered, but
I havent ever seen or heard of one breaking; I've
just seen cracks.

ok, took off side cover off and looked inside. If your on the rear of the tractor its spraying down from the front right side at the top. Any ideas on why it would be doing it?
