I have a '71 2110LCG with a Select o speed transmission that has a slow leak.
I called the local New Holland Dealer and they said I should use 134D transmission/hydraulic fluid. At $80/5Gal, I started hunting for other options. I went to another Allis dealership, and they said to use ISO68 tractor transmission fluid.
I've looked all over the web to confirm if ISO68 is a good replacement/substitute for the Ford 134D, but didn't come up with much.
Will the ISO68 fluid work as a repalcement for the 134D? If not, is there a different substitute that will work?
I don't want to spring for $160 for the 134D, but I also don't want to screw up the Select o speed transmission.
Thanks,
