checked the lug nuts. NOT a match. the studs on the 2000 are thicker than on the ferguson. now I have to call the guy and tell him I won't be buying them. hope he believes me and just doesn't think I am welching on the deal.

Are the treads the same? I don't know what wheels were on you're offset. some of the HD's had thicker lug nuts. Does it not seat properly? If you were closer I'd give you a lug nut adapter to try on.

the ferguson lug nut will not fit on the 2000 stud. too small hole dia. can't begin to thread it. oh well saved me 400 bucks and a trip to Morgantown.

Harry ferguson changed around a lot of stuff so you couldn't use the ford stuff on the ferguson and vise versa.
I do remember seeing the lug nut adapters for a ferguson but that was years ago and good luck finding a set of those. Talk about hens teeth.
Would have been a nice find cause they probably would have worked with you spin outs. They work well on my Power adj rims.
Send me the info on the seller in case someone asks so I can flip it over to them.

Agreed.

The bolt patterns are the same but the wheel studs are of different sizes.
