My clutch linkage is all sloppy and out of adjustment, so I pulled it off the tractor to refurbish it. Of course the clutch pedal was flopping around on the pivot pin. Since the pin was loose and appeared to screw in and out of the trans housing, I decided to remove it for cleaning.
Yes, I realized as I heard it fall, that there was a nut on the inside.
Surely I'm not the first person that's done this?
I'm hoping someone can tell me that it's possible to remove the shift cover and fish it out.
