mmmmmmmmm....supply & demand. Plenty of one, not so much of the other?

They weren't that bad -comparably priced too. I got to drive one at my local CNH dealer a few years ago and I liked it. They were offered as a tribute to the 8N of course and only had a limited run so that is why you don't see any at your dealers anymore.

Still see them at the dealers around here, most of them here never sold.

They weren't a 'bad' tractor, they are just in that 'In-between' stage, most of the farmers buying tractors bought a LOT bigger tractors, and when they wanted something that size they would go used, and save a ton of cash for a small work tractor.

They were a bit pricey for the hobby guy or most collectors to buy.

And they were a bit too big for the guy who has like 20 acres to take care of in the summer.

If they had made them smaller like the original 8N with a tag comparable to a Kubota they would have sold more.

too big, too expensive
a 'copy' of a 8N....at 50 hp....mistake.
If they would have dolled up a TC30 to look like a 8N,
and priced it under $20K, they would
have sold a ton.

Years back when trying to decide between a TC30 and a Kubota 7800 (similar specs), I went with the Kubota (TC30 was $3k more).
If that TC30 would have looked like the Boomer, I might have paid the $3k difference.
