On a 532 was looking into putting a loader on this tractor. Wondered if there would be any problems.Would it operate right fast enough ect. It does have power steering. The loader is off a case 630.
thanks Jim

(quoted from post at 18:24:17 03/08/15) The performance of the loader will be dependent on the pump you use and the size of the cylinders on the loader.

can I not use the same pump thats on the tractor? And that reservoir as well?

I have a Freeman loader hooked up to the 3 point hydraulics on my '73 4000 via a power beyond plate. It is a bit slow but not extremely slow like you might believe if you read what some others have posted on the subject. It works and is very strong. I do not use it a lot and for what I need it to do I can tolerate the slightly slow performance.

The 3 point hydraulics on a 4600 or 532 would have improved flow over my 4000 so I would say go ahead and give it a try. If it is straight stock, you will likely have to add something to tap into the 3 point hydraulics, like a power beyond plate or remote valve of some sort. If it ends up being too slow for you then you can always add a front pump and separate reservoir.

As Sean said, you can run it with the tractor hydraulic pump and it will have good power but will be slow compared to running it from a front pump. How slow will be dependent on the size of the cylinders. If it works to your satisfaction that is all that matters.
