I Took the Valves & guides Out Of my Tractor Today. They are Split Guides, Without seals.Checked compression Before That & each cylinder Was 100 Pounds. Tractor Would Not start unless it was Tow Started. The Valves seem Loose in The Old Guides. Adjusted all the valves Earlier.Rebuilt The Carb earlier & New Points & condenser, Wondering If I Need The New Valve Train With Solid Guides& Seals? Have Set timing To Book specs.Split Guides Come Out Really Easy. I Could get It To Run For Just a Second, By holding My Hand over The Carb intake.Put 91 Octane Gas in the Potable Tank Also.Getting Good spark at each Plug. Got Me Buffaled. Thanks For advise.
