can anyone tell me how to check the valves in the hyd sys on a ford 600, also can you used hyd fuild in a 1940s 8n

You need to be a little more clear.

Hyd fluid in a 40's 8n. If it had a front pump and loader with self
contained Hyds, yes. For the trans/rear/hyds common sump,
use a ytf oil meeting m2c134 spec.

As for the hyd valves on an 00 series. Um.. which ones. The
external bolt on aux Hyde for scv's or the internal 3pt lift valve in
block cyl types? Lots of different valves under the cover in that
block, each doing something specific.

Instead of asking a wide open question and making us guess,
or type in all possible answers, why not tell us what problem
you are having, then we can get right down to it.

the unloader valve and control valve, it set up for 2 year went to used 3 point would not lift. good flow at pump plug under seat low flow. also can kick r.p.m.s up and will work some, thanks for your help

You need to install a pressure gauge in that plug and check that you have good pressure. The unloader valve maybe stuck and if it is then yep no 3 point

I have top cover off and then took off plated at top end were I think is the control valve it has spring load move in and out good, the bott I think is the unloader valve were you screw in something to take out will not come out need help thanks

lide hammer puller or get innovative with washers/bolt/etc.

JMOR has the right approach to remove the unloader valvle plug. But be careful. That bolt is fine thread.

thanks I got plug out inside is moving good is the plug suppost to be loose going back in

The plug should be a tight slip fit.

o, you took it apart. changed nothing. put it back together & now it works? Happens with small engine carbs a lot.

well here I am again now lift will not go all the way down. have bush hog attach drops 8 inchs short to ground
