Generally speaking - the 600 fords with loaders and front mount pumps - what was the size of the pumps - displacement and gpm? The pump on mine quit and need a replacement. I know there probably different pumps used but what size should I be looking at? Thanks

A 600 series most likely had a 725 model loader, and the parts site says that loader used either a 13.7GPM or a 19.1GPM pump, both rated at 2200 PSI. So any pump in that range should be fine.

I ave 2 Fords with loaders on them. Both use the same pump and both pumps are in the 8-10 GPM range and the relief valve are set at 2500PSI. Having a pump that is to high on GPM can be deadly due to causing a tractor to flip over.
But again a lot depends on what brand of loader you have but on most the one I say will be just fine. By the way both my loaders use a Vickers Vane pump

Mine has a Vickers Vane Pump on it as well, or at least it did before I started to the teardown and paint/crank replacement.

It however has a leak on the front seal, is it possible to rebuild these pumps.

Sorry in advance for hijacking the thread.
