I am looking at a Ford 2600.I know this is a small tractor but it will only be used for light duty around the yard, such as sickle mowing and blading. Any info good or bad would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

They are an outstanding small tractor.
Nice size, nimble, plenty of power with the 158 ci gas or diesel.
Younger sister to the 3 cyl 2000, almost identical to a 3000/3600 except for a couple of ponies.
The dry brakes were never anything to brag about but Ford did use the same style from 1939 till well into the 1980s and folks got by fine with them.
Tell us more about it - fuel? How's the tin, paint, which tranny? Live pto or not? Power steering?
How are the tires? Hours on the clock? Tires?
What's the price? We can steer you away from a bad one. Did I mention the tires?
