jubilee/ 800 interchange?

I have 2 questions on ford tractors.
1st can I put a jubilee engine into a 861 ford tractor with out modification?

2nd can I put a select o speed rear axle on a jubilee tractor using the jubilee hydraulic cover? from some info I have seen before I believe the splined coupler will have to be made. any other mods for this switch?
thanks

thanks. I guess I had read the sos transmissions were the same in all models. and I knew the 671 and 871 had sos. and thought the jubilee and 600 were almost the same. so I was making a lot of assumptions in thinking they would interchange

The Jubilee is an older design, and a number of changes were made. One change was the hydraulic plumbing. On a Jubilee, the lines are external, while the later models all used internal lines. That alone precludes trans swaps between Jubes and later models.

I guess isaw the lines from the hyd pump and was thinking I could deal with those. my main concern was the rear axle bolting to the trans and hyd cover to the axle.

Naa Hyde are plenty different. They use a back pressure valve and tube not integral to the valve block lift cyl. This is why naa have an acorn nut back there.. 00+ don't have that setup

The NAA models have about the same rear as a 8N If you do put a 800 engine in it you most likely will have problems down the road with the rear end. In my way of thinking a NAA is just a 8N with a good engine and live hydraulics jmo

I was looking to use the 871 rear end on a jubilee not 800 engine in a jubilee. I wanted a heaver rear axle for it. I have the sos axle and trans sitting around. iwas hoping it would bolt up. I don't have the hyd from the sos tractor though is why I was looking to use the jubilee one.
