Just pick up this Ford 532 everything seems to be working but when I put a cultivator on it I was not able to get any town pressure out of the three point hitch I was wondering if I was missing something.I was told the tractor was much like a 4600. I will include a picture of 3 point hitch but it's not a real good picture. The one other thing is that the emergency brake pulls up but does not hold.I'll send a picture of that too.
Thanks for any help.
Also in picture the leaver under the seat it doesn't seem to do anything?

The 3-point hitch doesn't have down pressure. Very few tractors have down pressure on the 3-point. .. no Fords do, that I am aware of.

The valve in last pic needs cylinder hooked to it to work. The park brake may have missing parts. It pulls up and turns 1/4 to lock or pull up and hold till take foot off pedal. when pull up should make rachet sound when push on pedal.

thanks for the information on the down pressure.
on the liver it is the one to the left of the cylinder control just a short one by the hose in the picture.
on the brakes the foot brake does work real good but pulling up on the leaver does not make a rattling sound when pushing in the break and I cannot turn it a quarter-turn either direction.the only thing it does is slow the tracker slightly when pulling up real hard.

Tough to see much in those pictures.
Is this not an older 4000 SU?
I know they did use the single lift handle and separate draft control handle on the early ones.
But looking at your flow control valve that looks like the 4000 style too.
Is your hand brake on the left side of the tractor?
I think I can see the handle in the last photo. And I don't see the usual T handle on the right side of the tractor. If it is on the left then my guess is the brake discs are worn out and will need to be renewed.
As for the handle under the seat, It kinda looks like you have a hydraulic top link. Is that correct? If so, are the hoses connected to it properly?
Lastly, it looks like a King Kutter cultivator on there - designed for a 23 HP 8N or so. If you put it on a 50 HP tractor it probably wont last long.

Ultradog, according to my reference documents, a 532 is the 1975-1978 replacement for the '65-'75 "4000 Woods" tractor. It is similar to an SU in that it had the double reduction rear axle and a radius rod front axle, but the front axle was the fixed width solid non-adjustable version like the 3400 whereas the SU had the adjustable width front axle.

Thanks. I didn't know that model #.
The earlier Woods Tractor was a 4410.
But I was wondering about the single lift handle and older style flow control valve.
I wonder what style of pump Jim has on his.
Early or late style and does the tractor have a hydraulic filter on it?
There is a 4410 on Tractor House.
Notice it has high tin setting and like the 3400 diesels it has a dry air filter in the left side of the nose,
4410
