I have just purchased the lift plate gasket and O ring kit and taken the lift plate off. I see that them kit has 20 O rings and I am unsure where they all go. I believe that the bulk of them go under the accessory plate and on top of the cylinder, I only am sure about the two on the top plate. I also see that I need a new cam follower pin and I just want to know if I can buy one locally and exactly how to remove and replace it. I just purchased the FO 20 manual but I don't see any detailed info.
Any help is appreciated.

Figure FO246 gives a pretty good look at things and what is what. Page 128. Plus as you open it up watch closely for o-rings an there size. The unloader valve is a common area that causes lift problems by the way

Good luck, I have purchased 3 kits from different manufacturers (I mean importers...), and it looks like a bunch of random mismatched "sort of fits" o-rings. Drives me nuts. And there is no guarantee the previous owner put the right ones in the right spot, especially if they did not do the entire thing at one time.

Use a socket as a relieved backup, and a punch to remove the
old pin without damaging the lil arm, chamfer the new one and
install with a few taps, should.d interference fit well

Usually you don't really need any of those O
rings except for the Ram cylinder and the
unloading valve o ring.

The rest can usually be reused. No need to
replace the ones under the adapter plate if
they all look OK and not damaged. Same with the
two under the lift cover where the oil passes
up and down.

See the link below for some help with adjusting
the lift on your 4000 tractor.

Same as Hundred series.
