frony end loader hyds

I have a ford 1700, the front loader goes up ok, but is very slow lowering, also when in the float position it raises, alsothe bucket tilts down good, but is very slow tilting back up also looked for a hyd. filter and there is none to be found

Where does your manual say the filter is then?

don't have a manual bought second or third hand, found a ford dealer 50 mi away got a pic from parts book ' it shows a strainer internaly under the seat where one of the hydro lines conects
