Can anyone tell me how your suppose to run the wiring for the worklight? There is no holes in the fender. Do you have to drill holes? For wiring and top mounting hole. Here is a picture of what I have. Just wondering where to run the wire.

If you go to the New Holland Parts site and search for your tractor, you will find a diagram. drawing of the wiring for the work light. The wire comes from the instrument panel down the left side of the tractor to the brake actuator rod then across to the fender and up through the inside to hole through the fender to the work light. Some models had a steel conduit up the inside of the fender. Check the link below, once there click on "back to manual".

Do you want it original?
Or do you want working?

For working I would not drill the fender. I would just run it down the bracket and fender to the rear end. Keeps it away from the tire.

If you want original you need to remember the work light was a option.
Look at the pictures from manual and you decide how far you want to go as tubing and light socket is most likely NLA.

As Glen says the wire runs down the left side. If you want to run it through original back coated fabric wire loom you can get it from Mac's Ford Buffalo NY.

I didn't think to take my pad when I went to the shop but I checked the left fender of my 960. There is a 7/16 hole through the fender directly behind the bottom of the 'groove" that is pressed into the bracket.
