Got this bumper with a 9n parts tractor a while back...I'm pretty sure that it doesn't belong on a N series and would like to know what series it should go on so I can advertise it. Was also curious what would be a fair price for it here in central Indiana...Thanks for any help...Dan

They made those both in red and blue.
For the later Hundred and earlier Thousand series.
I see the spacing between the rails is more like the blue ones and not the red. Maybe someone repainted it. They were used till about 1980 or so.
They are by no means rare but you don't find one as nice as that one every day.
I would ask $200 and settle for no less than $150.
I have one on my 3000 - along with a correct set of bumper weights.

I agree with UD. These were made for the square nose model. the mounting rails were wider. They also made the top horizontal rail with more space inbetween so you couldn't use two more bumper weights. The earlier models had even spacing so you could mount all 4 bumper weights.
BTW: Still looking for 1 more bumper weight
