Hi guys,

Just what the title says, I'm looking for a ROPS for my 5600. If any here has one or knows of one, would you please let me know.

The description indicates this non-folding ROPS was designed for application on the Ford 5600 tractor, among others.

Relatively speaking, those ROPS prices are on the low end of what is offered from other sources. Saf-T-Cab and Lauren are off the hook.

Not to change the subject, but I believe that your required to have roll over protection on any tractor that you have paid workers drive. I dont remember where I read that. You dont have to if only family members and yourself. Cant remember if that was a National or state thing.

My cab tractors of course have it built in. Only one of my open station tractors has it. Double Ouch.

That's not my situation, however, I don't think a ROPS could be required on a tractor that didn't come equipped with one.

No, they can't require you to add a ROPS on a tractor that is old enough that it didn't come with one, but they can require a business to not allow employees to use a tractor that does not have a ROPS, as that is an OSHA regulation. If you want your employees to operate a tractor it's up to you as to whether to retrofit an older tractor with a ROPS or to buy a tractor that comes with a ROPS.
