Help identify two parts from Ford 3000 Tractor

I am restoring a '65 Ford 3000 tractor and forgot where two parts came from. I can't find them in my service manual nor in the parts manuals. Does anyone recognize them? Could you give me a hint where they go?

First Part - a plate about 8" by 8"

Second Part - a double threaded stud about 4" long.

Any ideas?

that stud went on the hyds top cover as one of the 2 holding the seat, and is a pin for the 3pt contraption bolted underneath the cover. ;)

That plate looks like it might be from under an aftermarket seat.

The pin is as souNduy says to hold the draft spring linkage in place in the hydraulic top cover, and it also serves as one of the two studs that the seat bolts to.

I think you were correct. I see now (in the parts list that one of the seat studs is called a positioning shaft. So I put in in the rear whole and hope that the assembly underneath was still in place. I hate to take the lift cover off and take the assembly apart to see if it is in the correct position. We'll see she we try to operate the lift if it was correct.

Thanks so much.

Sometimes you might have to compress the spring a little and push in on it to get it to line up for the spring to be able to drop in, but if the draft spring assembly was anywhere near to being in the correct location and the pin went in, then you should be fine.

Thanks for the info. Your input on the stud was correct and
helpful. I'm still trying to find the location of the plate. It doesn't
match any of the holes in the tractor seat assembly. My poor
memory tells me it came from the Steering hood "firewall" area a
the back of the engine, but I don't see any holes that line up there
either! Thanks for the feedback.
