Fred Flinstone time, almost: steering w my feet

I'm not braking with my feet like fred and barney,
but close. 841 with a 5 foot disc has the from
wheels in the air sometimes, so I'm steering with
my feet at the end of the row

May I ask folks to post their front-weight
solutions for hundred and X01 series?

thansk!

William,
I use the inside the rim wheel weights.
With a sprayer on the back with 65+ gallons of water, I could pick the front end up with one hand before I put them on.
One problem with them is if you have a flat, they are in the way and must be removed before the rim will come off or go back on.

If your tractor has power steering you might consider getting a front end loader. They cost about $1000 and add about 1000 lbs to the front of the tractor.

When the loader is not installed, I use front wheel weights and/or fluid in the tires.

Front wheel weights if you can find them for sale. I also leave part of my snowplow frame on. Front bumper weights again hard to find, fluid in tires is just about the cheapest way to add weight. You could add a couple of pie weight segments to your front axle, as shown a couple of posts down. If you have a bumper you can add some chains or a milk crate and fill with scrap steel.
