Help identifying

Ford 2000 tractor attached is the numbers. All the material I
have read doesn't match the numbers. Can someone help
with identifying the numbers

That picture doesn't show all of the numbers clearly enough. There's too many layers of paint obscuring some of the numbers.

Once I flip the picture right side up I can see 52315<> which should be the last 5 digits of the serial number, but the leading letter and first digit are not visible.

Above the partial serial number I see something that looks like 202 or 232 but I can't be sure. 202 might be the beginning of the model number for a 1965-1967 2000 with a gas engine, but the rest of the model number is again not visible. I suggest removing the paint with either some paint remover to see if you can reveal the full numbers. You could use a wire brush if you're careful. There should be another number up on the rough part of the casting as well.

You're right. With the picture being upside down to begin with and rotating it back around I totally missed that the starter is on the other side from a 3 cylinder. So I guess it might be 21202, which would make it a '63-'64 2000 general purpose chassis with a 5 speed and live PTO.

And if 52315 was the entire serial number, then it would be a 1964 tractor.
