PA rims: how to?

Hi, All.

Now that I repaired my rim, and is see all these other posts
about pa rims, the one going I can't find are clear instructions
on how to adjust them.

I searched the articles and threads, but didn't see a how to.

Thanks!

Bill

Just look in your owners manual. instructions are there.
Basically remove the nuts and clamps, place your spacer clamp in desired location where you want it to stop on the rim, lock up the opposite rim with your brake. Put it in 1st or reverse depending on which way you want the center disc to move and give it a little gas, once the center disc hits the spacing clamp, remove the clamp and replace all the clamps and nuts. Caution; if your center does not have an extension hub on it moving the center disc to the outer position (which will move the rim to the inner position) will hit the fenders.
Tracks and center disc edge should be in fair condition and not rusted in solid. They work pretty slick.

I would add that you must replace the spacer clamp into the correct position in order to prevent breaking it upon tightening the clamp nuts.

Additionally, the clamp nuts must be VERY tight.

Power Adjusted rear wheels look like a useful option.
