new rims and tires

1955 950

Anyone know were to get tires and rims for a 1955 950? I got
some power adjust wheels now with 14.9x28 want to stick with
them again.

You say you have PA rims and want to stick with them, but thenyou say you want tires and rims?

Which is it?

The old spin out rims and centers are NLA. The rims can sometimes be salvaged torching the groove plates off and welding to a rim blank, etc.

I have a 950 with 14.9's pa rims, love the height and profile.

When looking at tires, at least get a price from tucker. They regularly beat my local guy, even with shipping figured in.

I guess I didn't know pa rims where hard to get. Maybe ill just have to deal with mine. What brand do you buy from tucker?

I usually ask if they have any blems. They are usually 30% cheaper than a brand., and my farm don't care about cosmetic defects in a tire

They're not easy to find, but they come up once in a while.
I have a pair here in central Michigan. Where are you located?

Walts tractor has the original spinout rims. They also have a cheaper rim that will bolt onto a spinout center, but will not adjust.

Royse, I'm just south of gr. I've chatted with you on the phone. I
finally got the coolant in the oil fixed. New sleeves in the other
ones were about .030 below the deck height. Maybe send me
some pics of the rims.

I was thinking you were fairly close to me.
I can't find your email address at the moment.
My email is open or you can give me a call.
I should be around this afternoon.

I have an extra set of PA rims out here in Utah. I'm thinking that shipping would be expensive though.

walts tractor.
Go to "tractor rims/implement wheels"
look up "power adjust rims..."
UF99999 is an original replacement power adjust rim. Someone from Walt's confirmed this for me.
Did I misunderstand what the op wanted?

I see what you're talking about now JonB, too bad they don't
have a picture of them so we could see what they look like.
At $465 each for an 11 x 28 they should have a picture!
They have the replacement ones to fit the PA centers also
and those have pictures of how they mount.

"Thanks for calling them PA and not "spin out"."

Apologies for the mental anguish I may have caused!

From what I see, they don't sell centers, and only sell a non adjustable rim that will bolt to a pa center. I think its misleading to call a non adjustable fixed rim a pa rim. :)

You are confusing 2 entirely different threads. That quote is from a new message and another poster, not me.
