The Correct Gray for 801 Fenders

I've delved deep in the archives and come up mostly empty-handed. I'm looking for the correct gray for my fenders on my 841. My mother (the daughter of the tractor's original owner) has offered to paint them. I rarely turn down free help. So I'm looking to find the correct gray/"cream" color for the fenders. I found these numbers listed in the archive:

1958-1961

Grey (light)

CNH: M1J-957-SE5DS
Tisco: TP240

Van Sickle: 465

Ncomplete: LP-4862GPA

I couldn't cross-reference them anywhere else. Does anyone know if these numbers are accurate? I don't want the early dark gray, and I don't want white. I'd eventually like to go back with what was there originally on the whole tractor (orange-red and light-gray).

However, there's a monkey wrench in those works (of course). There are a lot of memories for a lot of people in my family for this tractor of it being blue (most likely a dealer repaint early in its life), and so I've considered putting Ford blue everywhere there should be orange-red, and keeping everything else the "other Ford color" (white?) that came with the blue. Would the original light-gray on the fenders match well with the "other Ford color" that came later? How close were they?

I guess the immediate question I need answered is do those numbers I listed above correspond to the "light gray" originally found on the 801?

I believe the CNH number you list is correct for
the x01 gray (in spray can) for fenders and hood. The cans,
whether spray or quart, should say "39/62" on
them, I suppose for the years, but it is certainly
not the right gray for anything but x01 tractors
from '57 to '62. I don't know about the other
suppliers you list. -Will

The tisco ls close to the NH paint but not a dead match as far as I can tell. But I am happy with it
