Need rims and tires for'55 Ford 660. Rims shot, tires cracked. Has 12/28 on it now. Looking at 13.6/28 rims and wheels from Tucker. These should work I believe. Use it for bush hogging and working garden. The old ones were off brand lasted since 1979. Ideas/suggestions.

Thanks
Robert

As dean said, 12.4-28 or 11-28 were the original stock tires.

You can go up or down a size , but as said effects speed am hair.

I have 13's on a 740, same engine power, mows fine.

About the same as putting 14.9 on a 900. I like that too.

I agree. 12-28s became 13.6-28s. There is no size difference. It's just a difference in the way they named them. I'd hate to even think what the new metric crap size is for them now.

Put 13.6X28 and 6.00X16 on new rims from Tucker on my 841 this year. Great service, you will be pleased.
