971 front end seals

Hi all, I have a 1959 971 and I'm trying to find a seal to replace the leaking one that is on the side of the front gearbox where the steering arm shaft goes in. Everywhere I have checked that one and the one on the bottom are both NLA. Does anyone out there know what number of seal would work for at least the side shaft? The bottom one is ok for now but I really need to relace the side one. Tryed to cross reference and measured it with a micrometer but my local bearing and seal place couldn't come up with anything that would fit. With as many of these old rowcrops out there I would think someone still makes a seal. Sorry for long post! thanks in advance Greg NE

Try Walthill Service & Repair in Walthill, NE and ask for Jerry or Dave. I know they had one in the shop a month or os ago and mentioned they'd found a seal. Phone is 402-846-5450 or 402-846-5666

Anybody got specs on seal since it is nla. Got a 981 '62. Guess they are the same as 971
