So I am doing a little bit of a resto on some parts and wanted to know if I take the 2 bolts that hold on the control lever stop assembly if it just slides out or something else?

This pic is not of my tractor but the lever is the same as what is on mine. This is Jerry D in NC's pic

It looks like you can.
You will have to remove the handle first and then the two bolts. Then you should be able to remove it. The shaft will stay in place.

Can anyone explain to me how to remove the hydraulic lift handle assembly?? I removed the 2 bolts that hold it to the lift cover but noticed it feels like it is being held in by something else like the draft control lever.. I would like to remove it so I may blast it and then paint it but don't want to mess anything up inside the lift cover or knock it out of alignment if that is possible?
