1965 Ford 4400 3 cylinder gas Oil pressure Line

I would like to install an oil pressure gauge/line on my 1965 Ford 4400 3 cylinder gas. I do not have enough room to install a fitting where the oil pressure sensor goes w/out hitting the power steering line. Does anyone now if that 1/8 pipe plug below the oil filter is an oil galley? I have the majority of the engine taken apart so unfortunately I can just crank it over to see right now. Thank you for any help, I appreciate it.

If there is room between the PS line and block for the sender, then there is most certainly room for a 90 instead. From the 90 go to a 'T'. One side of 'T' gets the OE sender, the other side adapted to an oil line, like a compression fitting for instance.

I am pretty sure that plug does go to the oil galley and should have full oil pressure. I would try putting your gauge there and see.
If not do as Soundguy suggests.
If you do it and it works post back and let us know. I have thought about adding one there myself so you aren't entirely reliant on just an idiot light. I do like the light. It will grab your attention faster than a low gauge. But it doesn't tell you much more than you have about 10 psi of pressure.
