Don,
I don't have a website or spec book. The knowledge I
have about casting codes is from years of looking at
4 cyl engines and sharing information with other
members here on this site.
Perhaps another member can supply you with more
info.

Here's a reply I made in the other thread before i saw this one and realized that other one was so old that folks who use classic view wouldn't see it.

Here's one site that explains Ford casting codes in general, not just for tractors but for cars and trucks as well, and not just for engine blocks, but for all parts, but only for the ones that start with a letter followed by a number. The ones that are all numbers and the ones that start with multiple letters in a row were older methods that aren't well documented from before they standardized across the board on the method described in the link below.
