Hzve a 1974 ford 5000, tires in good shape,
have not startes in 2 years, but it started well before that, needs engine overhaul, as has a lot of blowby and compression not strong.
hours meter broken i used to bush hog a 10 acre horse paddocks, 5 ft bushhog, also has 7210 ford loader on it loader is in good shape
used for snow. i live in northern Va.
Has hinkle cab on it. I want to sell. What is
fair price?
 
sounds like a flat deck row crop tractor with a Hiniker cab. Is the floor flat, or is the transmission between your ankles?


It depends on the options, and overall appearance of the tractor. How original is it? has it sat outside? has it been "modified" by a shade tree mechanic? Pictures are worth a thousand words to declare a value, but, in general, a 5000 with loader, sight unseen, needing an engine rebuild, wholesale- trade in value- would be between $2500-4000. Private party values go up from there, as would sight seen.
 

if you look at it from looker's standpoint, not running pretty much everything could need replacing. The only thing that could be attractive is to buy it for good tires. get it running and you could get a lot more.
 
3000 at best... not running.

loader is worth 2000 to 2500. if not torn up.

Cab is worth a couple hundred to 500 hundred if removed and setting on a pallet.

Tractor not running .... 500 to 1500 or scrap. its a crap shoot.

Parting out will get you a bit more..
 
when we were selling 5000s overseas anything that would run would bring $5000 and up. Not running is going to be cheap
 
5000 or 5200 (flat deck as mentioned)?
8, 16, or SOS speed?

$5000-10,000 running with the loader and options you mention here.

Not running, couple thousand for the loader and tires and pile of parts.

I'd get it running if you are correct that it was running when parked.
