I have a fuel line that attaches to the back side of the pump and goes up to something ? Maybe a fuel leak off line , don't know what it is or how much pressure but I broke it trying to reattach after putting new seals in my pump today . I want to know if I can use a rubber line to replace this hard plastic line?

Those plastic lines are available. ..but overpriced. A rubber line will work, as long as it's one that is rated for carrying diesel.

I hsd to replace all the lines when I had the injectors out a couple of years ago.
I used rubber fuel line from Napa.
If you go the hardware store you can find these little pinch on hose clamps in those boxes of misc hardware. They were not expensive and made a nice, neat job of it.
