Windshiled Washer Solvent Container

Does anyone have a suggestion as to where I can buy a windshield washer solvent container for my 1978 Ford 3600 with a cab? I have contacted my local New Holland dealer but they can't find one. The only thing that comes up is for a European model and that one will not fit.

That reservoir also fit a very very few ford broncos and trucks.. so it can be found used, but is rare.. I have found only two out there. I dont know the specific year of the vehicles that they were on. Best is to put a universal in the front grill and rewire it. While your there, you can add a radiator tank.

Wander if what is called a brake fluid reservoir isn't what you are looking for.(75AG17618AB)The rest of the parts listed on that page seam to refer to a windshield washer.

Wayne, I noticed that it said brake fluid reservoir also, when it is pretty obvious that it's the windshield washer reservoir given the title of the drawing. Unfortunately the "NHE" at the end of the drawing title stands for "New Holland Europe", so that drawing is for the European Windshield Washer system and that reservoir is the one that Retcol mentioned in his first post that won't fit.

(quoted from post at 11:37:44 01/15/15) There isn't a hydraulic system in 3600 brakes.

We know that, but part number 5 in the drawing below has a part name of "BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR" in the parts listing even though it's really the windshield washer fluid reservoir:

Would this one fit?

I measured the old one even though one of the sides is gone. It is about 11 inches long, 2 inches wide and about 4 3/8 inches high. The pump is in the bottom on the end.

When the parts look up was transferred from the books to the computer it was done by computer people not tractor people so a lot of information is wrong or omitted. I haven't found the 3600 parts book yet but I did find the 3610 parts book which shows a tank like you described. That part number is E1AF17B616AA. The same tank was used on the 7610 and you can find that in the on line parts store. I'll keep searching for the 3600 parts book to see if I can verify if it uses the same tank.

Well I found the 3600 parts manual and it doesn't clear things up at all. The only one in the book listed for the 3600 is the same picture Sean in Pa posted although it is listed as "reservoir" not brake reservoir but it is under FTO-E . The 5600-6600-7600 shows one similar to what you described part number D5NN17B613A. The number I posted earlier was the motor where this part number is the reservoir and motor.
