Set time in the steamy stuff

Got some seat time today spreading manure on the
garden. Knock down a lot of the piles I dump over
the weekend. Temps were cold but nice to be out
doing something after yesterdays freezing rain all
day.

Yum.That will grow some big peppers and maters! I cannot flatten out garden till spring with my black gumbo. It is love hate on that dirt. Post pics in july.

A friend and I rented a 10,000 lb dump trailer and ran 10 loads on Sunday. As long as the ground stays frozen and not much snow we'll be running more before the winters out. Most of the stuff was broke down and ready to go. A couple of loads were fresher stuff, thus the steam. We tend to lay it on thick.
Sorry no delivery.

25 tons won't go as far as you think. Remember the size of that spreader I pulled home from your neck of the woods? It will hold up to 11 tons. Density can vary a lot, however.

Kirk , that ground will be rich as 2 foot up a bulls butt lol,With having to use all that manure that land must have been so poor you could not have raised hell with a barrel of whiskey and 6 Irishmen

I've been building this garden for the past 4 years. It was mostly rocks but it's getting better every year. Now if the deer and bear would just learn how to share the crops with us that would be nice.
