Need coaching on 772QT removal (see pics)

It looks like I need to replace the water pump on my Ford 4600. To make things easier I want to take the loader off. Its supposed to be "quick attach" but I've never done it, so we'll see. I've attached pictures to show where I think the bolts are removed but I would appreciate it if someone could walk me through the process. Thanks a lot.

I could be wrong, but I don't think the front bracket comes off, If you look at your picture, right above the bolts you are talking about taking out in the last picture, there is a bar where the top frame of the bucket hooks into it, If I'm right, once you unhook the back section you can back the tractor out of that hook in the front, hence the 'quick attach'.

Its in the last picture you have.

Do not remove any bolts from the front support. Remove the bolts shown in the first picture then back the tractor up enough so the rear pins will clear the mount. At this point you will be able to use the hydraulics to raise the rear of the loader off the mount and install the stands. With the stands in place you use the bucket to support the front of the loader and back the tractor up some more and you are ready to disconnect the hoses.

I always put the bucket up against a tree.. so it cant slide forwards.. this will help when you hook back up..

remove the two bolts. install legs, if the fit.. if not jerk back 3 inches and lower the bucket, and that will raise the loader frame up.. install legs.. lower till legs are on ground.. (I usually had to put a 2x6 under each leg so the it would at the correct height to drive back into.) backup a bit.. disconnect lines.. back up rest of way...

when reinstalling you need to start with the tractor a long ways from the loader so you can square up and drive in perfect. take you time, get close enough to hook up lines... then raise if needed to drive in the last 3 inches and bolt it back,,

MAKE SURE THE FRONT IS ENGAGED CORRECTLY AS YOU CAN MISS THE SLOT.

So on this loader it bolts to the 4 hole pads on the trans and doesn't have any weight distribution back to the rear axle? If building a loader for a 3400 for example, would mounting to the front (quick release like that tubular support in the pics) and 4 bolts on each side at the trans be sufficient?

BTW what size are those bolt holes? 5/8NC is too small, 3/4 too big - that leaves 11/16?
