4000, 3 cyl Models

Is there a link to pictures or descriptions of the
different 4000 3 cyl Models. Ours is not a Utility
or a Row Crop, but it has 36 inch rubber.

Here's a picture of my standard general purpose ag chassis (not a utility or a row crop) that came with 13.6-38 tires.

According to my Operator's Manual, 12.4-38 was the "standard" size, but they could be ordered with a range of optional sizes:

13.6-38
14.9-30
16.9-26
16.9-30
18.4-26

According to my manual 36 inch was not a factory option for any of the 3 cylinder Ford tractors of that time period, but according to the parts site it was.

Rod is correct.
36" rubber was generally found on the British built tractors.
Other differences from the US built models will be 6 lug bolts instead of 8, wider step plates, a parking brake on the left side of the rear end housing, lights in the grill plus possibly other lights and a horn.
Also the Brit tractors usually used a different fender from the US built models. The Brit fenders attached at the bottom to the wider step plates.
If you post the 3 lines of code on the top of the tranny - on the flat spot just behind the starter we could ID your tractor from that.

I am currently rebuilding the cav injection pump on
what I believe to be a 72 model and it has 13.9 x36
Michelin tires that are weather checked and I think
could be originals .

My pal Kenny just brought one like that home yesterday.
Going out to look at it later and will bring my camera.
I assumed it would have 6 lug wheels but he says it has 8.
I'll make a new post about it later.
