cultivator but I think that maybe hard to find just
curious?

There was a narrow front ford tractor for sale on ebay that had the front mounted cultivators. I think it was a 971 but can't remember.

Ford made front-mount cultivators for both the 900/901/prior4000 and the 4200. They are NOT common, though. If you manage to find one, be sure to post pictures. We like to see that kind of stuff.

You will find far more 9** tractors than you will find 4*** row crop tractors.

Additionally, you are more likely to find front mounted cultivators for a 9** than for a later model tractor.

That said, it's been a long time since folks cultivated corn and most unused equipment has been scrapped.

I well rmember vacationing on my Uncle's farm in Tama Co. IA in the late 50s - early 60s. He cultivated lots of corn with a JD 60 and 4 row cultivators. I helped with various tasks using an 8N and even his new 97(8?)1 but was never trusted with his "big" tractor, the JD 60.

Show us your results if you find a set up.

If you search 404 Cultivator in this ford board you will see pics of my 4 row front mounted series 404 on my 2000. I still need to find a rear bar for it. There are some cultivators out there but they don't come up to often. I found one in northern Illinois before I found this one, I might have his number I'll have to look. I would like to find a 2 row so I could take it to shows

Didn't that 900 that Kirk recently posted about have a front cultivator mount? can't remember
Maybe that guy has more parts in the barn.

Probably get booted for this, but does it have to be a Ford?
I don't think I've ever seen a NF Ford for sale in my area with the front cultivators,
but the NF Farmalls and JD's with them do pop up occasionally.

Nonewparts I am a IHC collector with a wild hair to
play with a different color row crop , trying to
decide if it will be ford or allis or oliver or what

Ford9000puller We have the 402 & the 404 front cultivators for our 900's & for our 4200 & the 96" wide rear tool bars with the correct feet & sweeps. I may have an extra tool bar I may let go but not sure if you want to drive to NC for it. We come across the Ford rear tool bars quite often. Just picked one for a Offset for a buddy

We have the 402 & 404 cultivators & when we bought our 4200 it had the 404 2 row on it & the correct 96" wide rear tool bar. We have several wide rear tool bars we may let one go but not sure if you want to drive to NC to get one?
