1969 ford 2000

I am building a side mount for my post driver on my ford 2000 tractor I am looking at mounting this to the bolt holes that the FEL would use. The driver mount will have hydraulic feet on the part away from the tractor. Is there a chance I can damage the transmission casing with this mount?

OT.

Kirk, My wife's family name started out as Jeansonne. I worked
tugs and barges up and down the intercoastal and big muddy in
the last 2 summers of high school. Cajuns ran the boats even
though the company was based in Houston. I did genealogy
with my wife and understand the resettling from Nova Scotia of
the species. So now, with my credibility hopefully established, I
ask this question:

I have known .......deau folks and .....deaux folks, but never knew
of the difference in the spelling. Have anything you'd care to
share?

On the the bright side we always spelled Fido: Fideaux.

Thanks,
Mark

From my understanding. Originally it had to do with the masculine and feminine spelling of the name. Over time some people just kept with one flavor over another. Both probably came from the same point 500 years ago.

The holes I am not to worried about. The are over 1in deep. It is the rest of the cast transmission casing. I am wondering what my chances are of cracking it.

I guess like the name Francis (masculine) and Frances ( feminine).

Got a lone once and the loan officer was female. You guessed it.
She misspelled my name.

When I meant that the holes were stout, I was also talking about the surrounding metal of the transmission case. If you could see inside the bellhousing, you'd have a better idea as to just how beefy that area is. Ford poured a lot of metal into those castings.
