Ford 750 backhoe break seals

I have a 750 backhoe with fluid peeing out of the break acctuator seals. I think I can get the parts but is this a job that can be done without dropping the axle?

I just got this thing. It has sat for 10 years or more and it was ridden hard and put away wet.
The beast needs a lot of little things fixed but I thought I would start with one thing at a time
Thanks

I think that machine is built on the 5600 chassis and I'm more familiar with the 4600 size machines. On 4600 machines it's pretty straight forward to change those boots. Drain the fluid and disconnect the brake linkage.
EZ but kind of a bum location to get at.
No removal of heavy parts required.

I don't even bother to drain the oil. I just jack and support the rear tire off the ground about 6" or so, and then change the seal. Having the tire off the ground also allows you to feel for brake drag when you go to adjust the brakes.
