disc?

Recently acquired an 851 Ford and will be looking for a disc. What size and model mounted disc do I want? thanks, john

My 850 handles a MF #25, 6 pans each gang, 7'-6" or 8' 3 pt just fine in all the soils here, seems to be a good fit for one of these.

Agreed.
I pull a 4 gang, 6 pans/gang = 8' with my 3000 and it's a good match.
He will need ballast on his rears.

I think I have the same MF disc on my 860 and it is about the perfect match. Works great.

Yes, mine are loaded, tandem as well, really impressed with the M-F #25. I saw an N series listed recently in Long Island, NY package deal or separate, there was an old rusty #25 in there, 5 pans though, was tempted ! + Old dearborn plow too, bunch of other implements that appear to have been with the tractor a very long time or since new.
