ford thermostart

I've got a 3600 diesel without thermostart. What is involved in adding that system.
Is it just the one heater in the manifold?
Does the fuel line need to hook into the top of that heater?
Where is the heater mounted on the manifold? A pic would be great.
I understand the wiring and what it does just having a hard time finding a pic to know exactly how it is hooked up and where.

Thanks Guys

It would be pretty easy to add.
The heater screws in on the front, inside of the manifold. There is a plug there - just aft of the rubber boot where the air comes in.
Put the heater in and then cut the fuel return line up by the tank and add a tee. Then run a 3/16" hose between them.
Use a push button switch to power it.

Sounds simpler to sort out than I had gathered earlier - folks referred to a separate little fuel tank for it. Just a T into the return would be a lot simpler to re-create. Mine has been utterly butchered and I'd like to bring it back to life.

Via what's left to me for a dealer, $142 for the little reservoir tank (no sign of same on tractor) $57 for the heater (that's there, don't know if it works or not though) so skipping the little tank if it's not really needed will help quite a bit.

The '65-'75 thousand series had the little tank, but they did away with them when they went to the x600 series.
